Poa supina

Supina bluegrass

Cool season, perennial sod former. Very aggressive, dense, shade tolerant turf grass. Earlier spring green-up and later fall dormancy than other season turf grasses. Will tolerate heavy traffic and low mowing heights. Prefers moist soils. Responds well to fertilizers. Lighter green than elite Kentucky bluegrasses.
