Elytrigia repens x Pseudoroegneria spicata RS hybrid wheatgrass

Formerly known as Elymus hoffmanii and as Agropyron spicatum x repens. Cool season, drought tolerant, long lived, weakly rhizomatous sod-forming perennial. Hybrid cross combining the palatability of P. spicata ssp. spicata with the productive and aggressive growth behavior of Elytrigia repens. Adapted to most soils including moderately saline sites. Highly productive, nutritious and palatable. Recovers quickly from grazing. Useful on both irrigated and non-irrigated pasture and range sites.
